World War IIMT Anna Knudsen

MT Anna Knudsen was first damaged in a torpedo attack on February 9, 1942, by the German U-boat U-586. The ship was then damaged in another torpedo attack by the Japanese submarine I-10 on October 5, 1943. In both cases, the ship managed to remain afloat. It returned to service in October 1944 and remained in operation until it was scrapped in 1960.
