World War IIMV Norness

The Panamanian-registered MV Norness was torpedoed on 14 January 1942 by the German U-boat U-123 off the eastern coast of the United States. Two Norwegians perished in the sinking. A third Norwegian had earlier lost his life in an accident aboard the ship.
