World War IIMT Norvik

The MT Norvik was torpedoed on January 9, 1943, by the German U-boat U-522. The vessel was en route from Tenerife, traveling from Trinidad to Gibraltar with oil. One Norwegian and one British crew member lost their lives in the sinking, while 43 people were rescued.
