World War IISS Daphne (1890)

The Swedish SS Daphne was torpedoed on December 4, 1940, by the German U-boat U-37. The ship was en route from Glasgow to Lisbon with a cargo of coal. Eighteen people perished, including one Norwegian, and one person was rescued.
