World War IIST Federal

The American ST Federal was torpedoed on 30 April 1942 by the German U-boat U-507. The vessel was en route from Tampa, Florida, to Nanes, Cuba, in ballast. Five men lost their lives in the sinking, while twenty-eight were rescued.
