World War IIDT Mirlo
The DT Mirlo was torpedoed on August 11, 1942, by the German U-boat U-130 off Freetown. The vessel was en route from Curaçao via Trinidad to Freetown with 10,300 tons of fuel. The entire crew of 37 survived the sinking.
