World War IISS Rose Schiaffino

The British SS Rose Schiaffino was torpedoed on October 31, 1941, by the German U-boat U-374 near Newfoundland. The vessel was en route from Wabana, Conception Bay, to Cardiff with iron ore. The entire crew of 41 perished in the sinking.
