World War IISS Soreldoc
The Panamanian-registered SS Soreldoc was torpedoed on 28 February 1945 by the German U-boat U-775. The vessel was en route from Liverpool to Swansea in ballast. Fifteen lives were lost, and twenty-one persons were rescued.
