World War ISteel full-rigged ship Najade
Steel full-rigged ship Najade was torpedoed by the German U-boat U-59 on March 21, 1917, off the coast of the Faroe Islands. The ship was en route from Galveston to Denmark, carrying a cargo of oil cakes. The entire crew of 21 lost their lives in the shipwreck.
