World War IDS Ingstad
DS Ingstad was struck by a mine, by a mine laid by the German U-boat UC-7 east of North Albrough Neaps Buoy on December 10, 1915. The ship was en route from Sunderland to Rouen, France, carrying a cargo of coal. One person lost his life in the shipwreck. (Source: Sjøhistorie.no)
