World War IDS Oria
DS Oria was struck by a mine on March 29, 1917, off Cape Busto. The ship was en route from Newport Mon to Marseille carrying a cargo of coal. Attempts were made to tow the ship to Gijon, but it sank off Cape Peñas. One person lost his life in the shipwreck. The remaining crew members were landed at Bilbao.
