World War IISS Greenland

The British SS Greenland was attacked by German aircraft in the Atlantic Ocean in February 1941. Norwegian Øivind Dahl was shot through both thighs and later died from his injuries at a hospital in Brechin, Scotland. The vessel was later hit by a mine and sank on 6 December 1941 while en route from London to Grangemouth.
