World War IIDS Torridal
The Norwegian DS Torridal was torpedoed on 5 April 1945 by the Norwegian U-boat Utsira in Folla. The vessel was sailing in ballast at the outer edge of a German convoy, en route from Bodø to Trondheim, and sank within seconds. Of the crew of 18, fifteen men were lost in the sinking.
